This was in HEAVY rotation on NYC's WKTU in 1981 and loved it. (nevertheless do)--I did non know it was a "remix" until many years later. I still adopt this 1981 version though.

The original notwithstanding kills it, but this remix is every bit good, maybe even ameliorate thanks to that amazing rap by Dr. Perri Johnson.

The production and recording is superb, on 45 rpm the vinyl is fat, lots of bass and really punchy ! proper society tune !
I have this version a couple of CD compilations and none sound every bit dynamic as the vinyl. Selling off my re-create reluctantly.

I guess and so many DJs played this to death dorsum in the day it would be difficult to observe a pristine copy, considering this record just wants to exist played loud!

Howdy. the picture depicted is an image used during submission to discogs which was not fabricated past me. If you look at all of this items for sale from other sellers on discogs you will see hand written on all the pictures shown on each seller. As for grading and y'all are apparently new to discogs, VG grading means noticable groove vesture and lite scratches. If there is an issue with jumping or sticking and so I'g very sorry for that as I did cheque myself before sending and I didn't notice any issues regarding jumps. As for the sleeve, it may have unglued but there were no seam splits of whatsoever kind. Apologies for my lack of clarification..
